Hosting
Rack leasing: units are placed in standard 19 inch racks (48.26 cm).
Depending on individual requirements, Customers can lease racks from Euclyde, whose staff shall install either in one of the hosting areas or in a private suite. Racks are available in one of the following sizes : 600mm x 600mm, 600mm x 800mm, 800mm x 800mm, ( width x depth ).
Rack installation comprises Power connection and Earthing. Prior to installation, Customer shall inform Euclyde of his Power type requirement ( 48V and/or 230V ).
In order to ensure proper rack maintenance and safety standards EUCLYDE shall maintain access to the racks and equipment. Customer shall also receives two keys per rack.
Area Leasing: For larger surfaces, Customer can also lease a floor area, usually fenced and locked, where specific floor plans can be accomodated.
Hosting premises: Minimum ceiling height in the premises from the raised floor is 2.7 meters. EUCLYDE usually tries to ensure that the customer's units are next to one another. However this is not always possible, especially when requests for additional units are several months apart. For customers who can anticipate their requirements, Euclyde can block and reserve additional space for a fractional cost.
A raised floor of minimum 400mm is installed in the hosting premises to enable the passage of various cables and networks (electric, telecommunications and air conditioning). Raised floor is anti static and made of tiles of 600mm x 600mm or 450mm x 600mm. Euclyde shall perform all necessary floor cuttings for cable access between the raised floor and the Customer's equipment. The flooring can withstand up to 500kg/ sq.m
Wiring: When Customer wishes to connect a unit to a specific local loop operator, the necessary specific cabling should be separately ordered from EUCLYDE who shall exclusively perform the work in order to ensure cabling reliability and conformity with various norms. Specific wiring can be realized to order.
Connectivity
Connectivity is available via major carriers including France Telecom, Cegetel, Neuf Telecom, Kast Telecom, Cogent, Level Three, Interoute, Competel and others. EUCLYDE offers a broad spectrum of networks which makes the Datacenter a technological hub in the Southeast of France.
Our fibre optic network offers you up to 1 gigabit of bandwidth and gives you light speed access to access all your customers and colleagues around the world.
Euclyde offers guaranteed bandwidth (BGP4) from 1 to several times 100Mbps.
